Social Responsibility

The Needles commitment to Isle of Wight charities continues to be of great importance to us and we help many organisations raise money throughout the year. We also give certain charities the opportunity to visit the park and to have stalls to raise money and awareness amongst our visitors.

We regularly donate items for both school and company raffles and charity fund raising days. Indeed, our Charity pond was designed and completed by a local business using Isle of Wight stone and it continues to raise money.

Some of the people we have assisted within the past year include:

  • Hampshire & The Isle of Wight Air Ambulance
  • Totland Parish Council
  • Freshwater Lifeboat
  • Freshwater Bay Golf Club
  • Freshwater fire station
  • Guide Dogs for the Blind Association
  • Rotary Club of West Wight
  • Wight Squirrel Project
  • RNLI, Salvation Army
  • Earl Mountbatten Hospice
  • Isle of Wight Rotary
  • Isle of Wight Scouts
  • Muscular Dystrophy Campaign
  • Wessex Cancer
